Biography

Keith’s journey began at the world-renowned Millfield School in Somerset, where he excelled on a tennis and football scholarship before furthering his education at Downing College, Cambridge, earning an honours degree in Economics while representing the university in both sports. His career seamlessly blends his passion for tennis with his financial expertise, as he competed internationally while advancing his professional pursuits. In 1979, Keith and his business partner Ashley Broomhead acquired the Watchorn Tennis Club, which, under their leadership, achieved remarkable success, including being named LTA Club of the Year in 1991. The club produced 29 National Champions, pioneered community tennis programs, introduced cost-effective indoor structures, and promoted world-class clay court surfaces. Keith’s contributions to the sport extend beyond club management; he has served as Junior National Team Coach, Senior Tutor for the LTA Performance Coach Award, and International Tennis Federation Level II Performance Award Tutor. His coaching expertise has taken him across Africa, Asia, and Europe, delivering courses and developing an extensive private coach mentoring business. He also worked on the ATP tour with elite players, including Jamie Baker, Britain’s former number two Davis Cup player.
